Your Favorite Power Rangers Comics Writers Reunite February 2022

The biggest event in comics in the year 2018 came out of left field – wait no scratch that, Angel Grove – as Kyle Higgins (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and Ryan Parrott (Go Go Power Rangers) crafted an immense 25th anniversary story that thrust the Power Rangers back in to the mainstream with the evil Lord Drakkon and the Ranger Slayer taking center stage. Easily an event that turned BOOM! Studios from a small company in to a, well, not as small company.

Four years later, Ryan Parrott continues to write both the Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers comics for BOOM! Studios, while Kyle Higgins writes Ultraman with Mathew Groom for Marvel Comics. But in 2021, Kyle Higgins launched his creator-owned series Radiant Black for Image Comics. Not long after, Mathew Groom launched a successful Kickstarter for Inferno Girl Red that culminated in the graphic novel being published in stores by Image Comics.

And now comes a massive – a super massive – crossover event in February 2022. Kyle Higgins’ Radiant Black, Mathew Groom’s Inferno Girl Red, and Ryan Parrott’s new hero Rogue Sun, are all teaming up together in a crossover branded as the future of Image Comics.
